Well, as most if not all of you know, I recently installed XP on my machine. I've been using Winamp as my music player of choice due to its ease of use and compatibility with my awesome keyboard. While admiring its interface, sitting there all fullscreened and pretty-like, I started thinking about the music box, and how much more awesome it'd look if I changed the UI again.

This is what I've come up with. If you'll notice, in the top left of the UI there's space for a picture. For obvious reasons, I don't want to rely on the user to upload their own images and we won't have an internet connection, so I'll have to download the images beforehand and use a script to thumbnail them (not a problem what with my awesome coding skills.)

For some stupid reason, I deleted all the songs I'd had on my laptop that were downloaded from the last Wilanga, so now I have no list of the bands likely to be uploaded.

And now to the point of my email:

I need band names! Lots and lots of band names! I can download images from Last.fm and shrink them, but I have no idea what the kids are listening to these days and what people are going to be uploading. Obviously I'm not going to get every song on there covered, but it'd be nice to have a decent percentage.

Also, I'd like to know if you have any suggestions for changes. I'd like to get all the work out of the way early so I don't have to worry about it next holidays.
